Micro-Infusion System
Your step-by-step guide to science-backed serum delivery at home—for nasolabial folds, under-eyes, upper eyelids, and beyond.
Preparation
3-5 minutes
Cleanse Your Face
Wash your face with a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser. Remove all makeup, sunscreen, and oils — these create a barrier that blocks micro-channel penetration. Pat completely dry with a clean towel.
Clean, dry skin ensures actives reach the dermis instead of sitting on the surface.
Wait 5-10 minutes after cleansing to ensure skin is fully dry. Damp skin can dilute your serum.
Sanitize Your Hands
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water, or use 70% isopropyl alcohol hand sanitizer. Dry completely before touching your device, serum, or face.
Check Your Skin
Examine your treatment area for any contraindications:
✓ Safe to treat
- Clean, healthy skin
- Healed post-inflammatory marks
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Mild texture concerns
✗ Do not treat
- Active acne or pimples
- Open wounds or cuts
- Sunburned or irritated skin
- Active eczema, psoriasis, rosacea
Setup
2-3 minutes
Prepare Your Needle Head
For new needle heads: Brand new needle heads come pre-sterilized and are ready to use immediately. Attach carefully without touching the needle tips.
For reused needle heads: If reusing within the 5-session limit (see Needle Head Care section), ensure the head has been properly sanitized after your last session.
Never touch the needle tips directly. Handle by the plastic base only to maintain sterility.
Load the Serum
Remove the needle head
Twist off the needle head from the applicator bottle and set aside on a clean surface.
Add serum
Using the dropper, add 0.5mL of serum into the applicator bottle. The dropper has measurement lines to help you dose accurately.
Reattach the needle head
Twist the needle head back onto the applicator bottle. Make sure it's finger-tight but not over-tightened.
Each 4mL bottle provides approximately 8 sessions at 0.5mL per treatment. Store remaining serum in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
Prime the System
Inside the microneedle head is a small center valve (the "bubble"). This needs to be activated before serum flows properly.
Primary method (recommended)
With the cap still on, flip the applicator bottle upside down and firmly tap the entire device on a flat surface 2-3 times. This activates the valve and pushes serum toward the needles. Remove the cap and start stamping. The tapping method alone is usually sufficient and immediately works.
Alternative method
Simply begin stamping. The first 2-3 stamps may be dry — that's normal. The valve will open and serum will start flowing.
You can also turn the applicator bottle upside down for 3-5 minutes before tapping to help serum flow toward the needle channels.
- Re-cap, turn upside down, and tap the entire device firmly on a flat surface several times
- Slightly loosen then re-tighten the needle head to release any air lock
- Tilt your head back while stamping so serum flows toward the needle end of the applicator bottle
Adjusting the Angle
Ensure the serum remains at the needle end of the applicator bottle during stamping to effectively infuse it into the skin. Slightly adjust the angle of the device as needed to maintain proper serum flow while stamping — you may need to tilt the applicator bottle or your head back when treating certain areas (under-eyes, neck, sides of face) to keep serum flowing toward the needles.
Treatment Application
| Zone | Stamps (1 Pass) | Passes | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under-Eyes | ~30 (15/side) | 1-2 max | 1-2× per week |
| Nasolabial Folds | ~50 (25/side) | 2-3 (up to 4-5) | 1-2× per week |
| Upper Eyelid | ~30 (15/side) | 1-2 max | 1-2× per week |
| Forehead | 20-30 | 2-3 (up to 4-5) | 1-2× per week |
| Cheeks | 40-50 (20-25/side) | 3-4 | 1-2× per week |
| Neck | 30-50 | 2-3 | 1-2× per week |
One "pass" = stamping the entire treatment area once with 25-50% overlap between stamps. Multiple passes means going over the same area 2-5 times depending on zone tolerance. Start with fewer passes and progress as your skin builds tolerance over 4-6 weeks.

Nasolabial Folds Protocol
Technique
Fill & Prime
Twist off the needle head and pour 0.5 mL of serum into the applicator bottle using the dropper, then secure back on. Clean and dry the nasolabial fold area on both sides of the face.
Stamp
- Position: Hold device perpendicular (90°) to skin
- Pressure: Light to moderate — firm enough to feel contact, never painful
- Pattern: Work along the entire length of each fold
- Stamps: ~25 light stamps per side (50 total) per pass
- Overlap: 25-50% overlap between each stamp
- Passes: 2-3 passes for beginners; up to 4-5 passes once tolerant (after 4-6 weeks)
Press straight down — don't drag, twist, or roll. Lift completely before repositioning. Work from nose corner down toward mouth, then back up. Stamp-lift-move takes about 2 seconds per position. Keep device flat and use light, even pressure.
NLF skin is thicker (~1.5-2mm) and benefits from multiple passes for deeper collagen induction. Unlike delicate eye areas, this zone tolerates more stimulation.
Apply Remaining Serum
After stamping, you may gently pat any remaining serum onto the treated area using clean fingertips — or avoid touching entirely and let it absorb on its own. Use light, pressing motions only — do not rub or massage treated areas. The micro-channels are open and vulnerable to contamination from friction or bacteria.
If excess serum remains, apply it to untreated areas (cheeks, forehead, neck) where you can massage freely to make the most of your serum.
Let absorb completely — no rinsing for 8-12 hours (4 hours minimum). Avoid touching the treated area for at least 24 hours. Avoid acids/retinoids for 48-72 hours.
Expect visible smoothing within 4-8 weeks. Maintain consistent 0.25mm depth. This is the optimal depth for perioral skin and does not require progression.
The periorbital area is the most delicate region of the face. Skin here is ~0.5mm thin (vs. 2mm on cheeks), highly vascular, and prone to sensitivity. Follow this protocol precisely.
Under-Eyes Protocol
✅ Safe Zone
- Under-eye crescent (below orbital bone)
- Upper cheek/malar area
- Outer orbital rim (crow's feet zone)
❌ Never Treat
- Eyelids (mobile lid)
- Closer than 5-7mm to lash line
- Inner corner tear duct area
Stay at least 5-7mm below the lash line at all times. If in doubt, go lower.
Technique
Fill & Prime
Twist off the needle head and pour 0.5 mL of serum into the applicator bottle using the dropper, then secure back on. Clean and dry the under-eye area.
Stamp
- Position: Hold device perpendicular to skin, keep device flat
- Pressure: Very light — the lightest you'll use anywhere
- Coverage: Work across the entire under-eye crescent from inner corner to outer corner
- Stamps: ~15 stamps per side (30 total) with 25-50% overlap
- Passes: 1-2 passes MAXIMUM (start with 1 pass; progress to 2 only if well-tolerant after 4-6 weeks)
- Technique: No dragging — lift completely between stamps
Under-eye skin is extremely thin (0.5mm total). One pass at 0.25mm is often sufficient. More passes on this delicate tissue increases risk of irritation without proportional benefit.
Apply Remaining Serum
After stamping, you may gently pat any remaining serum onto the treated under-eye area using clean fingertips — or avoid touching entirely and let it absorb on its own. Use light, pressing motions only — do not rub or massage treated areas. The delicate under-eye skin has open micro-channels that are highly susceptible to bacterial contamination and mechanical stress.
If excess serum remains, apply it to untreated areas (forehead, cheeks, neck) where you can massage freely.
Let absorb completely — no rinsing for 8-12 hours (4 hours minimum). Avoid touching the treated area for at least 24 hours. Avoid acids/retinoids for 48-72 hours.
Expect visible improvement within 4-8 weeks. Maintain consistent 0.25mm depth. This is the optimal depth for periorbital skin and does not require progression.
The upper eyelid area requires extra caution. Only stamp on the brow bone and upper orbital rim — avoid the thin, mobile eyelid skin.
Upper Eyelid Protocol
✅ Safe Zone
- Brow bone (below eyebrow)
- Upper orbital rim
- Temple area
❌ Never Treat
- Mobile eyelid (skin that moves when you blink)
- Area directly above lash line
- Inner corner near tear duct
Technique
Fill & Prime
Twist off the needle head and pour 0.5 mL of serum into the applicator bottle using the dropper, then secure back on. Clean and dry the upper eyelid area. Only stamp on the brow bone and upper orbital rim — avoid the thin, mobile eyelid skin.
Stamp
- Position: Keep the device flat against the brow bone
- Pressure: Light, even pressure
- Stamps: ~15 light stamps per side (30 total) with 25-50% overlap
- Passes: 1-2 passes MAXIMUM (start with 1 pass)
- Technique: No dragging — lift completely between stamps
Similar to under-eye — delicate periorbital skin requires minimal passes. The brow bone area tolerates slightly more than mobile lid, but caution is still essential.
Apply Remaining Serum
After stamping, you may gently pat any remaining serum onto the treated brow bone area using clean fingertips — or avoid touching entirely and let it absorb on its own. Use light, pressing motions only — do not rub or massage treated areas.
If excess serum remains, apply it to untreated areas (forehead, temples, cheeks) where you can massage freely.
Let absorb completely — no rinsing for 8-12 hours (4 hours minimum). Avoid touching the treated area for at least 24 hours. Avoid acids/retinoids for 48-72 hours.
Treat 1-2× per week. Monitor for sensitivity. Expect visible improvement within 4-8 weeks.
Universal Protocol
Begin at the center of your face and gradually work outward to cover the entire area. This ensures even coverage and optimal serum distribution.
Face Map Stamping Guide
Forehead
Start: Center of forehead → Direction: Work outward toward temples, then move down row by row → Stamps: 20-30 total per pass → Pressure: Moderate → Passes: 2-3 (can progress to 4-5 once tolerant)
Cheeks
Start: Center of face (near nose) → Direction: Work outward toward ears → Stamps: 20-25 per side (40-50 total) per pass → Pressure: Moderate → Passes: 3-4 (thicker skin tolerates more)
Neck
Start: Center of neck → Direction: Work horizontally across neck creases, then move down → Stamps: 30-50 across full neck per pass → Pressure: Light to moderate → Passes: 2-3 → Avoid: Adam's apple area, directly over throat
After Stamping
After stamping, you may gently pat any remaining serum onto the treated areas using clean fingertips — or avoid touching entirely and let it absorb on its own. Use light, pressing motions only — do not rub or massage treated areas.
If excess serum remains, apply it to any untreated areas where you can massage freely.
Let absorb completely — no rinsing for 8-12 hours (4 hours minimum). Avoid touching the treated area for at least 24 hours.
Post-Treatment Care

Aftercare Timeline
Treatment Schedule
| Week | Frequency | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | 1 session | Test tolerance, assess skin response |
| Week 2+ | 2 sessions/week | Space 3-4 days apart for cumulative results |
Evening/night application allows overnight absorption without disruption from makeup, sunscreen, or environmental exposure. Spacing rule: Always allow at least 72 hours (3 days) between sessions. Never treat the same area on consecutive days.
Results Timeline
Results are cumulative. Consistency beats intensity — gentle sessions twice weekly outperform aggressive treatment once monthly.
Needle Head Care & Replacement
Maximize hygiene and performance
With proper care, a single head can last up to 5 sessions. However, performance peaks when it's new and gradually tapers with each use.
| Approach | Frequency | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 🥇 Fresh Every Session | Replace after each use | Zero risk Maximum hygiene, peak sharpness |
| 🥈 Replace Every 2-3 Uses | Sweet spot | Requires sanitization High sharpness + value |
| 🥉 Extend With Care | Up to ~5 sessions max | Budget-friendly Strict sanitization required |
Fresh heads eliminate all risk of contamination and ensure optimal needle sharpness. If you choose to reuse, you must follow the sanitization protocol below after every session — no exceptions. We offer reuse as an option for those on a tight budget, but understand that any reuse carries some level of risk that fresh heads do not.
How to Sanitize (If Reusing)
- Immediately after use, rinse needle head under warm running water
- Soak in 70% isopropyl alcohol for 10 minutes
- Remove and shake off excess
- Air dry with needles facing up on a clean surface
- Store in a clean, dry place (not in bathroom humidity)
When to Replace Immediately
- Needles feel dull or "tugging" on skin
- Needle head was dropped
- Visible bending or damage
- Any sign of corrosion or discoloration
- Increased discomfort during treatment
- After 5 sessions maximum
- Share needle heads between users
- Use a needle head that's been dropped on the floor
- Reuse beyond 5 sessions regardless of appearance
- Touch the needle tips when attaching
